Plate heat exchanger is a high efficiency heat exchanger which is made of a series of corrugated sheet metal stacked. The structure of plate heat exchanger mainly consists of plate, gasket, pressing plate (movable plate, fixed plate) ,carrying bar, guide bar and front support column and so on.
The plates are sealed by sealing gasket. The two fluid channels are separated, the cold and heat transfer medium flow through their respective channels, and the heat exchange is carried out with the separated plates, so as to achieve the required temperature.
The plates are all open in the corners, and then assembled together to form a plate pack to form a distribution pipe and a collecting pipe. After the heat exchange of cold / hot medium, the flow from each collecting pipe is recycled.
The plate heat exchanger is mainly inter wall heat transfer. The main feature of the wall heat exchanger is cold. The two hot fluids are separated by a solid wall, such as a plate, and the two cannot be mixed, and heat exchange is carried out through the wall.
The single flow structure of plate heat exchanger is that only two plates do not heat transfer, the first plate and the end plate. Double flow structure: each process has 2 plates without heat transfer.
